🌍 About Me — Living A Life Of Many Interests

You’ve probably heard the saying:

“Find your passion, and you’ll never have to work a day in your life.”

It’s a nice thought. But what if you’re not passionate about just one thing?
What if you’re curious about a lot of things — some that come and go, some that stick around for years — but none that completely take over your life?

That’s me.

I’m Wayne, and I’ve never been a “one-passion” kind of person.
I have plenty of interests, and they don’t all fit neatly into one category.

I enjoy golf, sports, fitness, and health.
I’m drawn to survival prepping and learning practical skills for unexpected situations.
I’m curious about making money, investing, and building small side projects that keep life interesting.
I love music, and I’ve always had a fascination with history — military, American, and Middle Eastern — because it helps me understand how people and decisions shape the world.
I’m interested in nutrition, diet, and healthy living, and I’ve spent time learning what works (and what doesn’t) when it comes to weight loss and better eating.
I’ve even explored trading cards — both Pokémon and sports — rediscovering a bit of childhood fun and the thrill of collecting.
And through it all, I’ve had an ongoing curiosity about motivation and mindset — how people push through challenges, stay disciplined, and keep learning no matter their age or stage in life.

With all these interests, I sometimes wonder:
How do you find time for all of them — and can any of them truly become a passion?

That’s the question that led me to start PlentyOfInterests.com.

This blog is my space to explore different ideas, hobbies, and curiosities — to share what I’ve learned, what I hope to learn, and even what I’ve decided isn’t for me.
Some interests may fade, others might deepen, and maybe one will even turn into something more lasting.

But the real point is this:
You don’t need a single, burning passion to live a meaningful life.
Sometimes curiosity is enough.

So, welcome to Plenty of Interests.
I hope you find something here that sparks your own curiosity — or reminds you that it’s okay to try, learn, move on, and keep exploring.

Thanks for stopping by.
— Wayne
